Metro Animal Services
The City of Hills and Dales does not have its own animal ordinance or animal control facility, and we default to Louisville Metro Animal Control regulations. It is the responsibility of the person who experiences an incident with an animal or has a complaint to call Louisville Metro Animal Control. Please take photos or videos of the situation if possible.
Depending on the situation, a resident may consider contacting the applicable neighbor/pet owner if a pet has become a nuisance. Otherwise, call:

Press 1 to report an aggressive animal or bite.
Press 2 to report a stray animal.
Press 3 to report a lost or found pet.
Hang up and dial 911 for a life threatening injury.
