City Officials

The mayor and four commissioners are elected by the registered voters in the City of Hills and Dales. Elections are non-partisan.  The mayor serves a four-year term and each of the four commissioners serves a two-year term.  If a mid-term vacancy occurs in the office of mayor or commissioner, the remaining members of the legislative body will fill the vacancy by appointment. The terms for the current mayor and the four commissioners end on December 31, 2026.  There are no term limits.  All city officials are volunteers.
